I've never got on with Assetto Corsa. I've tried like hell to get all the settings right and it still doesn't feel at all realistic to me. Don't get me wrong, you can't get the arse end out on Pcars in a lot of cars, but it's still realistic enough to not piss me off constantly.
Still playing the absolute f**k out of this.
Did a 4 hour enduro yesterday at Le Mans in a McLaren F1. Managed P3 which wasn't too bad considering I kept twatting the backmarkers and having to pit. Last 2 laps were epic as I had some suspension damage and had to reach the finish before P4...
Because they've already assessed it as being wrecked, they won't let you drive it away. Get someone to have a look at it from a garage you know, they'll produce a quote which then gets sent to the insurance company, who then approves the quote and the work then takes place.

Some insurance companies want to keep written off cars with no chance of buyback.
Personally I'd have it repaired by a person of my own choosing for a fraction of the price that the insurance repairers want, the insurance will pay out if it's no longer so expensive that it would write the car...

'SERV' light doesn't usually come on on its own. Any other lights on? My bet is the airbag light as a result of changing the steering wheel. EDIT: or that cracked ABS ring.
Synchro crunch 2nd-3rd is common, a sign that the box is on its way to needing a refurb.
Actually the aerodynamics of the estate were better, hence why they used it. IIRC the rule change was that rear wings were allowed after, so the estate's additional downforce wasn't an advantage any more.
I know the HSA speed championship has an MX5 class, A2.1, which is what my car is in, running 4th in the class, 20th in the championship under the last owner.
The fact I've just bought an MX5 should tell you how fun they are for the sort of stuff I've mentioned, although as above there are better cars if you want to win.
