That's response time, not the same thing. Input lag is the time it takes the TV to recieve a frame from the input, process it, and then display it. Response time is the time it takes for each pixel to actually change, after input, processing etc (the long bit!)

Not much I can do about it though, finding a 40 inch 4k PC monitor with low input lag is going to be a rather expensive if not impossible exercise.

Yeah, I thought about doing it through filming a mouse click, but couldn't think of anything on the computer which I know displays a mouse click instantly.
Anyone know of a cheap way of measuring input lag? Obviously there's that tester unit thing but that costs £80, and I don't have another screen with a known input lag time.
It's for a 4k TV so I know it's going to be poor, but the real question is just how poor.
