The Ph1 seems to be entering a bit of 'cult' status at the moment, with everyone wanting one. People couldn't get rid of them quick enough 18months ago.
I've only ever test driven a 182 once, so can't really compare, but I love my Ph1, think I'd only swap it for a Vee (out of the Clio range...)
Not only has she tried to nick your car, the little bugger's gone and stolen my welly's too!
I'd like them back please, tell her she can keep the bike, it's too small for me now.
Don't trust students, lazy blighters, always looking for some dust to roll up and smoke...
Blokey's coming in September to fit it, seriously cannot wait!
I've got scratches right the way around the driver's side wiper, where the rubber blade slips back, meaning the plastic housing has been rubbing up and down - annoying as hell!
Can't be bothered to go to the hassle of smashing the screen to get it replaced though.
Bloody Volvo drivers are the worse, always got their sidelights on... ;)
I can see the point of always having them on, but I generally put them on when visibility is approaching poor. Never use just sidelights though, either fully on or off.
Chill out? Okay... :S
I'm not saying it makes sense, but I am fairly sure it's the law. I could be wrong, but just going on past experiences and having a previous car fail an MOT for a fog not working.
As said, if it has one then it must be working in order to pass the MOT, which in turn means that it's technically a road legal requirement.
Would be surprised to hear you get pulled for it though.
I'd have thought that if the clutch is engaged that blipping only becomes relevant when you go to release the clutch, matching the revs.
1st is often difficult to get into on mine when I'm still rolling, but every other gear is fine for downshifting. Might be worth lifting the clutch when...
I'd want it to be near-mint, as the belts are going to price the price back up to £5000. Still a decent price for '02 but if it's a dog then it'll become expensive.
My issue was out on the road before a steward was even in sight. People coming from the opposite direction just doing U-turns in the road and filtering in no way near the back of the long queue.
I'd certainly try to make him see sense and help you out in some way, even if it's just a discounted job to get it done properly and therefore an improvement upon before.
Did he apply the thinners or you?
If he took it upon himself to do it then I'd ask him to at least repair the section to the quality of before. If it was advice that you took personally, then I don't think you have much of an argument.
