funny how people are comparing a modified car to a standard car..
going on about you can modify them to 200bhp.
throw the same amoutn of cash at the 172 and it will still beat it.
that brake light switch fault..
it means the brake light switch needs adjusting as its too sensitive.. mine did it.
every now and then (like 3 months apart) id hit the brakes and then serv ESP and ABS lights would come on, turn car off, turn it back on and everything back to normal for...
some of their stuff is crap.. i.e. just cheap brand stuff. like wheel bearings etc.

on my old frenchie i bought brembo rear discs from them and bendix rear pads, theyre cheap too.

when you say your modifying the front end for the intercooler.. will it be obvious its there?? or you going to try keep it discreet?
fred.. if i buy brembo ones, and the brakes are still shite. if i take it into renault to get them to sort the brakes under warranty they will say its because im not using standard parts?
ds2500's are mainly for fast road use i believe.
id go for standard renault discs. (around 98 quid from the stealers..)
just any branded dot 4 fluid i think.
i spent mega ££ on silkolene but some good castrol stuff should be fine.

with standard pads and discs, they left a kind of 'lip' on the outer of the disc which was just like a rusty mess where the pads didnt touch? (see fig a - side crosssectional view.)

full bottle lasts about 2 days.
came out from swimming pool lastnight and there was a big patch of water coming from the front of the drivers wheel arch.. like the rear of the bumper.
will this be just a clip broken...
