i saw a photo of them on a car and REALLY didnt like them. looked like a 'max power' version of some super leggera's.
they are to replace the superlegs.
if its not broke dont fix it and all that..
im not being a miserable t**t, yes doing it down old country lanes fair enough. but in built up areas while kids are playing round is just stupid. all it takes is one slight mistake, little bit too fast, little too much on the handbrake and it could all end in tears.. and mistakes DO happen...
our street was like an ice rink this morning (never gets gritted) yet i managed to keep the car under control.
theres no way he went round every corner going sideways and having to recorrect the steering nearly hitting kerbs without driving wrecklesly.
and sitting there in 4th gear wheel...
not the speed but sliding sideways uncontrollably in a built up area on purpose is a bit irresponsilbe in my opinion.
watch them kerbs.. i smashed a wheel in half on my old car hitting a kerb in the snow at about 5mph, it never was the same. think it bent the chasis leg or something.
yea they around 25k or something but will be alot less miles than the m3 your saying you can get for 18k, wont be as much to insure or run, and will be newer.
i do quite a few miles so a diesel would really be my ideal choice for next car..
no, just believe that was very stupid and irresponsible doing it in a built up area with kids around.
maybe so on the estates but they dont fight with chainsaws in the highstreet and steal cars at gun point. gotta love lincoln for that and the good old giles.
p.s. i dont even live IN...
no but theres a time and a place.. late on in EMPTY carparks not streets with kids playing and cars parked up..
if anyone did that around my nephew playing down my street they'd receive a brick through their car window while theyre driving.
sadly cant quite afford one of them.
my brothers mate let me drive his e46 m3 and loved it. just waiting for a go in his 55 plate e46 m3 with SMG.
looks like a 330D convertible for me in a years time.
exactly.. the majority of 182's out there have the cup suspension with the 58mm units
they make kits for some very weird cars on their listing that i cant imagien they sold many of!
wonder how many people have rang up ktec asking for 182 coilovers..
oh well, i'll just leave my car...
want it to snow over again so i can nip round the corner to the car park..
this is what i did last year on my way home at 3am when i found an untouched car park:
