Testing the water....How much will it cost to refurb all four wheels (172 mk2 alloys - quite badly kurbed in places thanks to the previous owner) and change the colour to matt black? I've tried getting a quote from www.lab-tab.co.uk but they haven't got back to me. :mad: Can anyone recommend...

Had that light come on, on my old 16v dynam, turned out to be the spark plugs in the end. :S It also threw the car into safe mode, i.e can't go over 2krpm. Cos the lights on, doesn't it mean that the ecu has registered a fault and the only way to clear is to take it to a garage and diagnostics...

Cheers for the advice guys, managed to get a low enough jack :) Anyway heres some pics! And the finished article! Applied with a tiny winy brush :) Doesn't do it justice there, cameras not that good on close ups. Car just needs a fecking good clean now, but run out of time...lol

Whilst in the process of painting my calipers, i thought it would be a good idea to clean the arches and wheel inners, as they haven't been cleaned in the cars 4.5yrs of motoring. First removed drivers side wheel to find this on the back :S The wheel caked in a really heavy grease/oil...

I live in a one-bed ground floor flat, my baby is parked a foot from my bedroom window on the drive :) I'm not sad or anything, honest! Moving (hopefully) in a couple months, new house comes with a drive, which is a bonus! :D

Going to have a bash a painting my brake calipers to day, obivously going to need to jack the car up, wheres the best place to jack it up, has anyone got any pics of jacking points front and rear? Also can anyone recommend a low jack, since the clios on apex springs. Ta, Dan :)

scratch x is very good on the light stuff, but needs working in well. finish off with something autoglym srp and it should be ok???
