Just spent the past three hours cleaning my car, now i've just started it up at the rev's jump straight up to 2k rpm and then climb to 3k rpm. The exhaust and engine are violently shaking, and it's got a serious case of the splutters!! The car moves, as i've rocked it back and forth in gear, but...

Bugger....thats tomorrow scuppered then. Oh well. Where can i get it? Can you recommend me a complete pack of stuff? Good luck with the cossie tomorrow ;)

Rich - What do you use to seal the paint after Glaze and can you get poorboys SSR2.5 from Halfrauds?? Got a plan for tomorrow.... Wash SSR2.5 (if i can get it...anything else to look for?) Meg's 80 Seal????? Ta, D

I had this problem in my last clio (1.2 16v dynam), problem was eventually diagnosed as faulty spark plugs. But yes, the computer will throw the car into safe mode if it recongises a problem, the engine light will come on, revs very poorly and sounds like a dog! Needs to go to renault for...

I wipe the car down with a little sampoo/water mix or just water, chammy off until completely dry. Then apply some megs nxt generation wax.

As racing182 said - Not enough spray used there matey. You need to really lube up the paint work whilst claying, numero one rule!
