    Overclocking

Hmmm. So it's as easy as changing something in your BIOS? Will my BIOS have a 10% overclock function?

    Overclocking

I'm not surprised. It's not very often you get something for nothing. lol. I've read how people have massively increased the clock speed - Seemed a little bit too good to be true!!

    205/45/R16 Tyres on 172FF Rims

The 182 has a different suspension set up don't forget...... I had 205's on my 172 for a while, although they were A539's :dead:

    Overclocking

Don't really know anything about it. Obviously you're somehow increasing the clock speed of the processor (or the multiplier) to make your chip work faster and subsequently hotter as a result. Before I start looking into it in earnest I want to know if it's something the computer geeks on...

    353miles to a tank

I've had exactly 400 out of my 172, before I modded her. Usually average about 280.

    Great vid showing off ESP

Perhaps. Using your plastering analogy for a sec, it's fair to say that no matter how much tutoring some of the IT workers on this forum recieved they wouldn't be able to plaster a cut on their finger. Same that, and sadly with far worse consequences than lumpy plaster, some drivers...

    Great vid showing off ESP

Maybe. I think like that. BUT and it's a big but, I cannot put my hand on my heart and say that I'm 100% switched on 100% of the time. I certainly try to be but will always be times, no matter what training you've had, when your mind will not be solely on the road.

    182 6-Speed

Out of interest what do you need to sterilise stuff for in motoring? That's what we use Autoclaves for at the brewery - We've got a dozen of the f**king things and they're always going wrong!!

    Great vid showing off ESP

Basically if you buy a Cup you suddenly gain control of everything around you. It gives you like a spidey sense. ;) :rasp: And I can remember your Cup trying to spin at about 20mph in a video a while back - You got away with it, but ESP would have caught it a hell of a lot quicker than you...

    New 5mp Sonyericsson coming soon

Well I'm perfectly happy with my K800i (As I was with my K700 and K750 before that) and would have one of those in a shot!

why is finding clio sports breaking so hard?

I've had to buy the lower arch liner for both sides. One was claimed by a badger and the other came of at 135mph. Think they were £27 each and then a couple of quid for four of the plastic plugs that hold them in.

Matched inlet by Alex at Carlton fitted

I've never had any work done by Ben, but wouldn't hesitate in doing so. He never comes across as anything but truthful and knowledgeable, and has always maintained that the success of this mod is variable from car to car.

    Mr Hatch's ClioSport 172

I've been to Beverley in my 172! Some good roads up there! I met the woman of my dreams there too! :(

Maybe, as my manifold was exchanged for a ported non-RS one, I actually lost power? Like I said - Bit of a lottery BUT in comparison to the cost of other worthwhile mods for these cars, it's inexpensive and could get you good gains. Worth a gamble.

Matched inlet by Alex at Carlton fitted

It does strike me that this is regarded as some kind of miracle mod when in fact it simply isn't. It can and does make a difference but it's a bit of a lottery as to how much. Personally my Maxogen made more of a difference to my car, yet induction kits are generally slated on here........
