Ideally, you should just be able to twist it through 90 degrees with a bit of force! Hard to describe really!! lol, although you may need to go a wee bit tighter, they tend to squeal on start up! Seriously!!! Its a doddle, 16MM through the back of the alternator, slacken the nut, undo the 13MM bolt at the front, slacken the 10MM nut off that is in the upright position, it will go slack, put together in reverse order!!
