I'll give that another go, pretty sure I tried every way known to man though!
I've ordered some others in the meantime, will update with results not that anybody's bothered!!
Well annoyed (n)
Took the top dash off to get at the bulbs replaced them with some blue leds, swapped the orange filter film out replaced with some white film connected back up and nothing :(
I checked the leds compared to the ones I took out and they seem to be missing some contacts where...
Belts, waterpump and oil change done today by the legend that is bloke, thanks again Sir and I'd highly recommend his services and will no doubt use again... probably sooner than I think!!
I now need to sort out a handbrake niggle, hoping it's not a Karlos above! spent enough for the time being...
I agree with you there hipwell, seems a very good price that although I bought some Elf oil and filter the other week and planned on doing that myself soon.
Where does bloke work? is he a trader on here??
Thoughts lads?
I'm thinking waterpump perhaps? can't see any pipes leaking etc.
I've been under the car today and filmed that, sorry about the low quality.
Having a mare at the moment with the motor and MOT is tomorrow!
Will they even test it like this? can drive it but...
Car is due the dreaded 72k service shortly and been quoted £865 from a specialist and to be honest that's not what I wanted to hear!
I am thinking about it, love the 182 to bits but not sure about paying that, I expected £600 or £700 MAX!
It does include all belts/dephaser/water pump (leaking...

Nope that was fine.
I think it was a fuse - I changed a 15 and 30 over, I also charged the battery overnight and used a bit of contact cleaner on things so whatever I did amongst that lot sorted it.
It was a great moment when it burst into life I can tell you! (y) efforts were not in vain...
Ok, before I call the RAC out is there anything I can try? Bearing in mind the car was running ok before I replaced the injector it wouldnt be the crank sensor would it?
What/where is the fuse for the injectors?
I'll quit after I've tried this!
I am thinking this myself Daz as the spark was odd.
The problem is not sure which fuse it would effect, I have changed one 15amp in the engine bay as I had a spare knocking about, battery is on charge so will try again tomorrow.
Nope not that I can see Pal, very frustrating.
I am really struggling with this :(
Here's me thinking I'll just replace the snapped injector and done, oh no.
One thing I did notice was the broken Injector when I took it off sparked when I touched a bit of metal, related to my issues...
Hi lads, last resort you boys!
Not happy, thought it would be a piece of pish and away I go.
Here goes.
I have changed a broken injector - car ran fine before this, made sure they are all seated correctly etc connected the fuel rail back up and the bloody thing won't start up :(
I've tried...
I actually read that theead and was chuckling to myself... not now I'm not!
I must of caught it unknowingly when getting the oil filter off, what a place to put it.
Anyone know the best place to get one from? guessing no chance from a shop on a Sunday. PITA.
What a shi**er of a day (n) had nothing but car trouble today, here is the latest balls up.
I took the fuel rail guard to gain better access to the oil filter in order to change the oil.
I was super careful or so I thought and I only realised something was amiss when I went to start the car...
Anyone know what this could be from?
I noticed some puddles on the tarmac but not sure the cause of them.
I've also noticed the coolant dropping rapidly.
I can't see any leaks pouring out from the engine bay although the exhaust leak is a lot.
Oh dear, didn't want to be posting on here again :(
Light is back on this morning and it seems to be after the seat has been moved forward - I had it quite far back yesterday.
I am debating to either solder the wires or use resistors now, what a pain.
