72k Service Quote, about right?

Car is due the dreaded 72k service shortly and been quoted £865 from a specialist and to be honest that's not what I wanted to hear!

I am thinking about it, love the 182 to bits but not sure about paying that, I expected £600 or £700 MAX!

It does include all belts/dephaser/water pump (leaking I think) and coolant, all gen parts used. Courtesy car aswell.

Question is, is that a fair price these days?

Belt kit and bits, dephaser, aux kit, oil, filter, waterpump, coolant.

Can't see you getting it any cheaper than the 700 @bloke just quoted, especially as he said that includes oil and filter.

I agree with you there hipwell, seems a very good price that although I bought some Elf oil and filter the other week and planned on doing that myself soon.

I paid 650 all in for everything I did this when bought the car for peace of mind and for future saleability it is a big expense ?
