I was really beginning to think that my dealer was one of the good ones too. Plus i have aquired a strange scratch all down my car, but cant prove who did it......:(
hahaha! 1 litre per thousand miles, I guess my car isnt covered again as I have lost 5 litres since the last service 5k ago, it all came out in one go though.:(
well i hope this is the case, but I really want to know why this has happened.
I know I am gonna get to renault today, and the new cocky receptionist guy will start it up and go " It's fine sir".....:clown:
it's everywhere mate, didnt take long to cover the car, plus it has got on top of the fuel rail guard, so that pretty much confirms it came out under pressure.
the car was fine the day before, glad i didnt break down when i went for a drive to mid wales.
I have had a look near oil filter, it doesnt appear to be that, looks like the oil has come from lower down. the oilf filter just has small amounts of oil sprayed on to it.
I had the 36k service done 5k ago. I was wondering if it could be the oil pump, if it could do this.
I say this as it has...
Other features include hest-deflesting liquid coating to unleash the power of your engine
I just bought a hest shield, do you think it will deflest as good as this one?
thats encouraging then. only did a few hundred yards, then realised why it was flashing on and off when i got out the car.
It will be booked in at renault in the morning, the AA guy thinks it fooked.lol.
Only drove the car a few metres, then oil light and stop came on for a second and went off, so thought just to be safe turn round and go home, must have covered less than half a mile before i got home and found the oil has pissed out everywhere at the front of the engine bay, below the fuel rail...
yeh, you are best to try and stay away from insurance. and going into back of someone at that speed is your fault tbh.
s**t happens, but it looks like a very easy fix.
you can get a set of bits in a blue rubber block by draper for £4 from asda. That should do most of the torx bits in the car, except for the mahoosive one anchoring the isofix bar and seatbelt.
