Its renault the ashtray cost an arm and a leg...:clown:
I havent checked my tyres for a while, in the wet i can get understeer very easy, but in dry its very hard, i can get the tyres chirping round the corners thats about it. Going round motorway islands at 70 with neutral steer ( think that's...
hmm, I think my coilovers are a good match for your trophy suspension and as to the comment they dont understeer......all fwd cars are set to understeer arent they?
Take it to four ashes renault specialists, they have a brand new jig, apparently its the dogs danglies.
Plus Neil has worked on loads of clios, so will know what to do with it.
Well i think 10 cars will be easy to get, I have 3 of us already lined up for this so only need another 7 minimum.
Will phone around on monday and see what prices I can get.:D
lol.
thanks for the useful info, will go looking for a different car park tonight with loads of space if esp is being switched off.....
There seems to be a few different ways of rescuing the car, I was considering doing an advanced driving course to test a few things out.
Easy. get the correct leds and they are a direct replacement. Cant tell you the type off top of my head, but you need to get exactly the right package surface mount led.
surely if there is less weight in the rear and the same over the front wheels, means less force required to move car forward...forgive me if I am talking out my arse, i need to get out more.
Mate , my car would kill yours.:rasp: Nothing in the back and a few mods....
oh and less weight would mean less wheelspin, so there...ner ner na ner ner
I am trying to secure a good price for a rolling road day in the midlands, so far I have been quoted £763.75 for 16 cars for half hour each car
which is £47.73 per car, and imo way too expensive.
Any ideas people? Examples of previous prices would be good, so I can haggle with potential...
I never get loss of traction in second in the wet, i use good clutch control and throttle.:rasp:
The only time i get major loss of traction is when I am going side ways....
Its so funny, I hear this all the time from a few guys in here. "My 172 spins wheels all the way upto third" hmmmmmm, as if...
I reckon you either have a very fast one or something isnt right.
I said to rebecca if i crash it on the carpark its only a car, but if i do it on a road and dont expect it or know what to do we would be fooked.
Why dont they teach this s**t for the normal driving test.
lol. I can read up on this loads but I need to go on a course.
Just read a funny thing:
understeer is going through a hedge forwards, while oversteer is going through a hedge backwards.:quiet:
So what would you do if the car understeers around an island in the wet?
I understand what oversteer and understeer are, its just how to control them that I am s**t at.
because if i was back on throttle with oversteer, then I would have more understeer in the wet.....:S
Well i lifted off and naturally the back went light.lol. not very fast either around the island.
What is the correct thing to do? I believe this would be a common problem in wet weather.
I went to a car park to practice as I dont want to be caught out by silly mistakes.
