Would be a git to do, as far as I am aware the controls on the PH1 are manual compared to being controlled by motors etc. Is it really that hard to turn a knob when your hot or cold??
Its only recomended that its run on 98ron+ and although it should run fine on normal unleaded many people on here have noted that using lower octane fuels have made there toxic fume light come on.
On the other hand many people run the cars on normal unleaded with no problems.
Someone did this to mine when I first got the car. Ive touched it in with some touch up paint for the time being. You can only tell its been done close up now. Am hoping to get it sorted when I finish my placement in a few months. Some people just really cant drive nor give a damn about other...
Did this on mine the other month. Similar age. Use lots of lube and the only pressure you need is enough to hold it in contact with the paint work. I would try using tar remver on the worst parts first.
theres a big thread on this somewhere do a search.
Edit: This might help

Nice car, IMO loose the side stickers, ITG sticker and the cup badges. I also think spraying the 2.0 badge white would finish the car off nicely.
EDIT: Forgot to say I think the rear lights look good on this colour PH1's
I just ripped mine off as the foam tends to attract muck and water etc when it starts to get old. As said it'll also stop you knowing when you have a major leak!!
I can easily change the oil (the normal way) in fifteen minutes. Theres no need to jack the car up to do one. If your carefull mess is kept to a minimum. How do you remove the oil filter without getting mucky hands??
Mine's cut in once when an old bat pulled out infront of me. I had loads of grip left and it scared the crap out of me as i thought i wasn't going to stop once it came on.
Could be the dephaser. Do a search in the engine section and see if you can find any similar symtoms to yours.
BTW I hope yours mates dad knew what he was doing with the cam belt i.e he had the proper renault tools for the job.
I think the PH1 looks wierd with an exhuast showing and I quite like the stealth look as it keeps the car looking standard.
Would of got a yozza BUT there website is misleading as it states the bore size is reduced to reduce noise but Fred seems to think its not reduced.
Anyway I've gone...
Thats not what it says on the website??
"This system had the same centre section as our race/road system but has a stealth (hidden) backbox with reduced bore of tail pipe to reduce noise output dramatically."
I would buy a Yozza Stealth if they did a 2.5" system but the one they have is restricted on the backbox to silence it. I think the K-tec is winning especially if its easy to fit. Looks like its time to go break the bank!!!
Ive hit 130mph gps in mine and thought it was quite lively up to that. As said though its not built for top speed. Its for hurtling down a nice B-Road!!
Sorry to start another thread but i need some straight answers!!!
Both of the above are looking to be around the same price. So I've narrowed it down between the two.
I have heard that the Yozza exhuast is very well built, produces a OEM type sound but does not provide an increase in...
