Lets clear a few things up!
AX GT is a 1.4 twin weber carb putting out 85bhp standard with a 0-60 of 9s and a top speed of 108mph
AX GTi is a 1.4 injection putting out 100bhp with a 0-60 of 9.3s and a top speed of 112mph(IIRC)
The reason for the difference in 0-60 times is because the GT...
Cant help you with locating the sump plug but the best bit of advice I can give you is to get a williams/2.0 megane oil filter. Its exactly the same as the one for a valver, but has a nut on the back so you can use a spanner to put it on instead of your hand.
It might have something to do with the fact you were toeing a 19! They must be over a ton! I toed my brother home the other day (AX GT - 720ish KG) and that was fairly hard.
Dont know if there is a weight limit to toeing a car.....
Has this just started happening or has it been a bit higher for the 3K miles youve had it in?
Is the oil level on max? Valvers use oil over time, so after 3K miles the oil might be a little low, causing a higher oil temp and pressure.
Anyway, oil should be changed every 3K!
For comparison...
I dont like black wheels on any car really, they just dont look right.
