mine was broken aswell. when had cam belt fitted the garage saw a pice of the metal on one of the top engin mouts had snapped! I'ts like a really thin piece of metal. Cost 55 quid which they did next day.

Is it me or do 172's seem to take a while to get going but when you hit 4.5 to 5k in revs in really goes

580 quid!!!!! I had to have a new engine mount as one had a piece of metal which was snapped! Glad it fixed but was only expecting to pay 450 - 500 quid.
Basically I had a 1.2 8v corsa and then went to a 172. So obviously the difference was loads. I've had the car for 2 weeks now and i get the feeling its got slower. Don't know if its because im used to it or i'm expecting more. Don't get me wrong it is quick. But i feel that saxo vtr's 106 gtis...
ye I couldnt go long distances with my old car as it rattled so much and was so bumpy. I think if my gf was to finish me it would have been over my old car lol. I did have 60mm fk coilovers lol so not great quality.
damn lol i want it to be obvious its been lowered slightly and from sounds of it apex is better option. but i dont want the harsh ride as i was sick of it from my old car.
but i loooove low cars lol
