As people would have read i want to fit my sub and amp to my standard cd player in the 172 without losing the controls on steering wheel and changing the cd player.
am i right in thinking that adding this http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/stinger-saloc-p-1461.html will allow this to work. will it...
its common fault. try wiggling the wires under i think the passenger seat or it could be the drivers seat. cant remember but sure someone will tell you. Its the connections that are dodgy
an amp to the standard 172 cd/radio player. Is it alot of work?? I got full wiring kit and going to get specialist to fit it but just want to know how hard it is so i know how much to expect.
nice m8. Whats the ride comfort like to when you had it standard? I'm wanting to put some 40mm springs on mine but cant be bothered with the really hard and rattly ride.
i have a creaking sound when i move my wheel. but this only happens at stand still or at 5mph. Any ideas what it could be? its as if its stiff and needs oiling but dont know what
thats quite a good height. I think i might want it slightly lower. mifght get 40mm springs all round.
Whats a good make for 172's. I've heard Eibach are good ?
on my corsa before the 172 i lowered 60mm and it was the harshest ride ever. could feel every little pot hole. so wondered if it would be like that. Would i need upgraded dampers or are the ones on the 172 good enough
I have 17" wheels on at the mo and looks a bit high. As everyone will tell me the handling will be s**t lol so will lowereing 40mm help it?
If i was to lower 40mm. Could I just buy springs? or would i need new shocks? will 40mm make it a harsh ride to what i have now.
Thought about 60mm but...
