the only mount where the its position may possibly cause a noise would be the o/s engine mount.
your noise could be numerous things from a engine mounting to an exhaust mounting and even a driveshaft.hard to really help without hearing it.

remove the sheild/bracket that covers up the fuel rail(held on by 2x10m or 2x13m nuts which are up 2 holes).the fuel pipe connection is on the o/s of the rail and has a connector which you squeeze to release it.
