Prospeed do whatever you want mate.... I went down with The Bear and he had a twin 3" cut into his bumper......

Charlie made an excellent job of it...
Cheers guys.
When she gets it, no doubt the stealers will have washed it and put some scratches in it. I'll give it a good going over and a few coats of #16. Should come up lovely.
Jay - Clio looks fantastic!! Did it need PC'ing?? Brand new?
So you reckon Scotchguard the interior and the usual paintcare on the outside should be good enough?
After a bit of your input guys....
I dunno if you saw the thread, but I've bought the Missus a new Mk3 Clio Dynamique (in pearl black:approve: ). The salesman offered the usual "Supagaurd" treatment for £300, which I politley declined.
What I want to know is what exactly is this...
Yeah, Rsport/GrpN are replacement ECU's.... used them as an example as they are not 'individually mapped' to the car either, yet still produce good results.
If your in the midlands, my contactat Land Rover will do it for beer. 4 crates of Coors got my Cup spoiler sprayed. lol.
I can't see it costing £100. I had my whole bumper sprayed by a Renault Specialist bodyshop, including removing the bumper, and it only came to £150........
All sorts of nasty reactions gone on there. That's known as 'crazing' (looks like crazy paving.
I had a similar thing happen on my bumper after a chips away type guy repaired a scuff. Only option for me was a resprayed bumper.
If plug and play chips are so bad, why do the fastest non T/B cars on here run Rsport or GrpN ECU's?
Neil and Chris have Rsport's and run 14.1's.....
A piggy back ECU will obviously be better, but it's more expensive and is ultimately only as good as the person who is mapping it.
I didn't get on with 205's..... although they were A539's
And I don't think it's as simple as wider = more grip. You'll also get more aquaplaning and tramlining.
EDIT: Read this - Interesting thread.

I work in maintenance. Sometimes the fix for a problem is ten minutes. Actually finding the cause can take hours. The clip wouldn't have told him that it wasa shorted out. Only that there was a fault.
Your perfectly entitled to query the bill and ask for a breakdown of costs however. Just...
It's not acceptable, it's a design fault with the car and needs addressing.
Nick @ Hillpower is currently working towards a cure for it although it's quite a difficult thing to diagnose.
As far as I know all 172/182 variants suffer from it. For the time being you'll have to go easy in...
I was daunted by the whole Newsgroups thing as you have to pay to get a decent serive (About £8 a month iirc). But now I use and have gotten rid of all my torrent software. Newgroups are the way forward. Folow Griffs excellent tutorial - can't go wrong.
Maxes my (2mb) connection no matter...
cars 52 on have clear side repeaters iirc, although some 52 plates have the orange. Difficult to clearly differentiate as when a car was registered has no bearing on when it was built.
