I've soldered most of them - But I've had no comebacks with the solderless ones I've done. No problems whatsoever. The adapter is held down by a screw and isn't really likely to come undone. The D0 wire is also an excellent fit.
It's not like you throwing the things about is it!!
Oh and I...
I'm probably into the 20's know of chipping Xboxs.
You can do it yourself. It's so easy now. Not like back in the day. lol.
Buy chip and solderless adapter. About £30 for an Xecuter 2.6 and Xapter.
Install. Flash Bios with bios disc.
Fit HDD. Put Auto installer Deluxe 3.0 in and...
Get a wireless router mate.
Ultimately there's nothing as reliable as a Cat5 cable, but I've had absolutely no poblems with my Wireless router.
Really easy to set up and once they're up and running that's it - just forget about it!
Hmmmm. Interesting.
Would it not sound a little flat without harmonics? Or is a complex wave not desireable for bass notes?
I guess you'll get a pure bass signal if the harmonics are removed from the fundamental.
Yup. But if you don't disconnect the OEM tweeters you'll be bombarded with treble. I put some JBL two ways in my doors and there's way too much treble imho. Never got round to doing anything about it though.
A capacitor with a resistor in parallell is a High Pass Filter. Depending on the values of the components, it will only allow frerquencies above the cut off frequency to pass and stop (attenuate) frequencies below it.
I didn't know they had these, but I suppose they had to have something to...
I would think there's a coiuple of bhp to be had - mine certainly pulls harder in higher gears than it did before, especially in 4th.
I have no dyno figures, but my ProSpeed cat back definitely made a difference.
I think I'll wait to actually drive one before I write it off.
I'm was never a fan of the Mk2 rear end, and neither am I of the Mk3.... but if it drives well......
Cruise Control was added to cars from September 2003. So 53 plate onwards. All Mk2 172's have ESP, but it only became switchable from 03 iirc.
So basically you'll be very lucky to get a mk2 172 with switchable ESP and Cruise for less than 7k, never mind 6K!!
Graphics are as good as anything I've seen on Xbox tbh. As above gameplay is old skool and a bit of a blast fest, but imho it's all the better for it. It's a refreshing change from all the tactical and technical FPS games.
Bet big gun and blow s**t up. Simple. And the cool thing is nearly...
I was told by Nick @ Hillpower that with the mods I have ( IK, Zorst, Inlet) the GrpN ECU will be fine. It was mapped around a car with IK and exhaust. The improvements of a custom map would be very little, but mod the engine any further ( cams etc) and you'll be needing a custom remap.
He...
I also to reduce noise iirc. although this man ^^ will know far more about than most.
I noticed a loss of torque when I fitted my Maxogen at about 4-5 kpm. Pulls stronger above that though.
