May aswell leave them on, Give them a GOOD scrub with a wire brush, give them a spray with some degreaser (if you want) wipe of with wet cloth, dry, slap on some hammerite smooth ( mulitple coats) dry, leave for a fair bit (8hrs at least) then bam job done
Mine does this, cant really be arsed with trying to fix it, sourcing the problem with sometime like that can take ages... But if you manage to, PM me or post up here :)
I didnt bother getting a new wiring loom. Didnt see the point, the TDC sensor is fine now, its just a number of other things that are wrong with my car, ha. I managed to stop it from breaking in the rain tho, the loom to the ECU was stripped to the wire, wrap some inner tube around it job done.
I get a similar thing, although my car isnt a sport, but i dislike looking like a stalling fool in car parks, lol, i've changed loads of things but nothings working :(
Everytime i go above 5000rpm in my clio, the engine just stops and a bunch of warning lights come on, then the electical fault light stays on. The limiter is supposed to be 6250rpm and even when you hit that its not supposed to just turn off is it? So has anyone got any idea what could be wrong...
