How Do You Clean Brake Calipers

Im Interested in Painting them, do i remove them completly??

How do i clean them?? Scrub?? Wash?? Not sure - Bit iffy because it is the brakes...

Leave them on the Disc??

I know the paint to get

May aswell leave them on, Give them a GOOD scrub with a wire brush, give them a spray with some degreaser (if you want) wipe of with wet cloth, dry, slap on some hammerite smooth ( mulitple coats) dry, leave for a fair bit (8hrs at least) then bam job done

^^yep, thats how i did it...i also put some tissue paper on the disc to stop paint dripping onto it

I power washed mine and rubbed them with a wire brush.
