as well as vastly improving the paint, they do all the fine little touches that a body shop generally would not, as well as full de-contamination and sealing / protecting it
good job they've removed the original article date, I remember seeing that when I 1st got my 5turbo coming up 10 years ago now. It never took off probably because compared to a traditional setup it was pants
for winter protection I'd say Gtechniq C2, needs a well prep'd and clean base but gives great self cleaning properties and also diluted at 10% for a QD for top ups.
I use a mac tools ET 97 but can't find it for sale. But this is an identical copy and appears to include ET 97 software

Considering getting one myself to try out and keep in the car
so back to the longer 5th gear question, is one available? I can't remember the last time I went over 100 magic buttons so would be nice to have a longer 5th for motorway mpg
When I've recently waxed ooh er, my car that is and we've had some light rain almost drizzle it kinda looks like this. What wax / sealant did you use out of interest?
with LY once it's clean the aphids arrive on swarms around the car. Have learnt to do it at the end of the day due to this.
Or today doing the inlaws Jag XF, finished all the prep and about to wax, 5min shower and stops, go out to start again, 5min shower and stops.
I get 'you'll polish the...
Re: What have you ordered?
I've the same collection of AF products to Russ bar mint rims and TBH everyone has impressed me equal or more than there rivals that I've tried. Tripple is a must have IMO. Spirit has been on 3weeks and is glorious although a little pricey, most I've paid for a wax...
tried it again this morning on the window rubbers and it didn't take that well, didn't really soak in like it does on the door seals or plastic. seems to have a level of cleaning ability to it also.
admittedly I have sprayed my fog and exhaust surrounds, but for the grilles I really couldn't be bothered.
For less than £10, try Auto Finesse Revive trim dressing. Looks and beads great and seems to be holding out quite well
Just had a quick call with Adrian flux and they've matched the non modified quote of Privilege with the car modified (minor performance increases accepted ) and no restriction on mileage as I use my car for work.
quick call, very helpful and all sorted, should have changed sooner lol
dodo juice clearly menthol and auto finesse crystal are my personal favourites.
Always favoured autoglym fast glass but the above performed much better
I know what your saying Danny, but originally they were OK about it when it was originally declared.
I received a letter from them this week saying they were changing the company they are underwritten by, originally direct line. seeing this promted me to call them as I will be away come renewal...
I have been with Priviledge now for approx 5 years on the 182 since I was 23 and never paid more than £650 so was always happy.
Changed my exhaust and notified them and stumped up £30 something which I accepted. Just spoken to them regarding my renewal in a few weeks and it's rocketed up over...
Not used it myself but the Meguiars and chemical guys dual action microfibre pad and polish compound kit are getting great reveiws.

a little G3 on a MF cloth will cover 1/3 of a windscreen. leave it 10mins to dry and buff off lasted approx 8weeks before it had noticeably deteriorated, applied again and topped up with C2 diluted and it's going OK. it doesn't last against using the wipers as G1 is supposed to but it performs...
wouldn't a diaphragm dumpvalve be better than a spring on something like the TSE? Seem to remember standard 5's on standars boost running better on them than spring dumpvalves
Beading is OK, not the greatest but certainly not bad, IMO not as good as a wax but comparable to other sealants I've used. Sheets very well though, even when first rinsing a dirty car down. Can't comment on durability yet as it's only been on the cars I've done for 2 weeks with 2 coats, 1st...
James and the team at AF are slowly building quite a collection of products that so far all have been highly impressive, revive trim dressing and glide clay lube to be the next released.
James was kind enough to let me have a sample of revive to which you see above to be tested on my Clio. As...
