Re: What have you ordered?
Will try them all tomorrow weather permitting. Also got there clay as I was running low, seems to be of good quality also.
Glisten seems to feel a little oily so guess less is better and spread it about?
Re: What have you ordered?
Only 15-20mins drive is quite handy. saw them finishing off a brand new merc today.
I've tried a few combo's so far. Tripple with Passion, tripple with Spirit, Rejuvenate with tough coat and tripple with tough coat and all have left an impressive finish. am still to...
Re: What have you ordered?
lol the AF range is very impressive, picked up a few more bits tonight so nearly the full range after my last order with spirit. Also grabbed a sample of revive trim restorer to try this weekend as they wouldn't sell any pre release.
Also spoke with James about more...
Re: 25% off Dodo Juice wax and Supernatural (further 5% discount code inside) 30% tot
If were offering non DJ waxes then I'd recommend AF tough coat sealant. Last 2 cars I used it on were silver and really brought out the flake well. C2 is nice on silver also but more prep needed for application
Re: 25% off Dodo Juice wax and Supernatural (further 5% discount code inside) 30% tot
for silver IMO supernatural hybrid. But i'm sure the whats best for silver has been asked many times, best do a quick search
Re: 25% off Dodo Juice wax and Supernatural (further 5% discount code inside) 30% tot
Orange crush looks very nice initially but the gloss didn't last all that long so will need regular re-application to keep up the finish although you need so little per panel a pot will still last ages. didn't...

jsd14, sample taken from the clean your car website after 30second search
Rain Forest Rub - Soft Wax - All Colours
Light Fantastic - Soft Wax - Light Colours
Orange Crush - Soft Wax - Warm Colours
Purple Haze...
i4d don't sell chemical guys products AFAIK but all those mentioned are generally good places to buy.
Give all the products a real good shake and then see if anything is still separated, waxes I would have thought would be fine unless they've been kept somewhere with a varying temperature, ie...
Re: What have you ordered?
oops. Auto Finesse Spirit wax ordered, was a late night application to a single panel with my sample that swayed it
Just hope the miss's doesn't find out the RRP
oooh! My rimming wax cost approx £17 so it's not great deal more for C5, plus it doesn't last 6 months and requires plenty of hard work and cleaners. 109's not much cheaper either
Then there's the important point of I HATE doing a full wheel wash
variable speeds??? not quite sure what you're referring to.
If you've got the cash or plan on using it quite often go Pro, if not stick with the standard one
lol busted, this got the response first, but the same topic 4 hours later? i wasn't quite brave enough to be rude so they got an edited version. funnily enough same thread on DW this wkend.
I personally think sealants give there best with metallics for flake pop etc instead of flat colours such as RB, for that I'd recommend carnuba based products such as wax or something like werkstat jett carnuba for example. If you've already got good prep then personally just wax as a glaze will...
currently using rimwax topped up with colli 476 wax but......
Gtechniq C5 would be my only recommendation, but they must be spotless before application to ensure full durability

Both my concourse and collectors were like this after I left them in the shed when it was hot. Let them cool down slowly then maybe stick it in the fridge for a few days and hopefully it should be OK, but they are VERY soft. Try and give it a quick mix prior to applying. This softness /...

I'm using the 2 vics over lime prime and pretty pleased with the finish.
I feel 3 months is a reasonable request, although SN hybrid struggled IMO as I struggle to find time to completely strip and re-apply the hole car.
Just rembered, AF Passion wax gave a beautiful finish over tripple to my...
look at LY in the sunlight and no other will match it. As said it as a £1200 option which I paid and still think its worth it. it's only worth the extra in the eyes of the buyer. IMO nothing gives a clio such a presence.
as for this its a girls colour, grow some. don't like it don't buy it but...
one day I might venture into such premium waxes but I'm a long way off yet, if the two vics waxes can handle 3months + I'd be quite happy. SN hybrid was a bit disappointing in terms of durability after all the hype, but maybe that was down to me
^ you referring to concourse Toby?
I'm trialling both concourse and collectors at the moment and currently would say beading is equal from both compared to SN hybrid, but not quite as tight as AG hd wax
been quite a few threads on this recently, always best to have a look through the past couple of pages.
For starting probably best to stick to a dual action polisher dependant on how confident you are. i4detailing and cleanyourcar both do good packages, none really better than the other IMO for...
providing it's a completely clean surface, C2 is just as easy to apply, diluted it can be used every week as tops ups, gives a crystal clear finish, protects for 6months + if maintained, has superb dirt repellency making washing a 10minute job max. can be used on paint, glass, plastics etc and...
interested to hear your opinions on Vics collectors and concourse.
I really wanted to test the concourse for durability as I've done more of the car using it than I did collectors, but it was so nice to use and the look it gave, I ended with up applying 4 coats of concourse over the space of a...
EGP could probably be used as a spray sealant if put in a spray bottle. werkstatt I'd imagine to last a lot longer than EGP and wouldn't need such regular application. As said providing the car still comes up clean after washing no need for SRP as this will more than likely strip most things...
Adam, have you considered vics concourse to fully up from collectors, I'm currently trying both on the LY and I personally think concourse has a slight edge but not much.
Wakz, Id say HD or supernatural hybrid both for about £25 will give a good mix of durability and finish
