Someone is driving to my house tomorrow to pick the car up. Leaving me with a Mini Cooper D I think, for the week.
The approved body shop is Extreme Bodywork in Streatham. No one on here works there do they haha!
Pcs in my office are 23" and there is no sluggishness at all. They instantly load. Great looking site and very easy to navigate. Some fantastic photos in there too!
Cheers for all the suggestions.
Looks like it's going through his insurance now anyway. As said it's probably for the best.
Trying to finalise it all today so I can get the car fixed up as soon as possible..
^^Haha.
Sounds like you have some good plans for the car. I would start with the 'brakes' if you intend on doing a few trackdays. Brembo HC discs and Ferrodo DS2500 pads are what I have and are a popular set up on here, along with some braided brake lines. Standard callipers are more than...
He's very busy so I dought he will respond to any emails or PMs. I did hear that he might be out of the country at the moment anyway. But give him a call. He comes very high regarded on here. One of the best.

Awesome progress so far. Car looks lovely. Interesting to see the difference between the three different intake set ups too.
How much did you seats set you back by the way if you dont mind me asking? Really like them and not sure whether to swap mine for some..
haha sorry for confusion.
I think first I'm going to speak to the guy and give him the quote to fix. I'll demand the money asap, if there is any problem with that or he says he can't pay right away then I'll get on to my insurance later today or tomorrow morning hopefully. I don't want to...
If your car was a write off then it must have been a serious accident. Mine really wasn't that bad so I'm not too bothered about claiming for any compensation.. If he gives me problems and makes more hassle then I might pursue it and get some physio just to be sure.
I don't need a courtesy...
Thanks for help and comments guys. Just had someone look over it quickly in a body shop. He has said he reckons about £900ish should sort it, but he's just going to check with Renault for price on a few things. He said part of the back end will need to be cut off and replaced to sort out the...
I'd rather leave the boot floor as it is than write the car off lol. Will be getting an MOT straight after all repairs anyway just to double check there wont be any issues there.
The bumper looks normal to be fair lol that's the weird thing. Obviously it's been pushed in a little bit but if...
Boot floor is a little bent up. But there are no splits or cracks or anything. I'm sure someone could just whack it out with a hammer lol!
I can't see his writing my car off, but I haven't ruled it out. I guessed it would cost around £1000-£1500, but who knows. Car is worth about £3500 and...
You know what insurance companies are like though. They'll try to argue that once you've been in an accident you're more likely to be in another and they'll put your premium up!
Right guys.
Was in a small bump on Friday night. Not my fault. Sitting at traffic lights in traffic at around 8pm. Car behind me bumps me up the arse. He straight away admits fault. I take a quick photo of the scene on my phone and of his number plate. My mate jumps in his car and we...
By the looks of it you have just signed up for Forum use. If you pay the annual fee (£12 I think it is) then you will become a club member with access to other sections on the forum. We'll worth it with all the club discounts let alone the cool members pack.
As Sir dave said. I would just source another engine personally. There are normally a few floating about. Then all you need is for someone to fit it all in for you. Obviously might be a few other bits needed round the sides, depends on what's wrong with yours and what needs replacing really...
