yeah exactly what Im thinking if I go for a titanium or get an iceburg but I'd rather be a bit different.
I've seen them on the trader, 3.5k - 4k for iceburgs, but am not sure whether they are going to be any good or not. I'll probably have nearer 5.5k to spend so would like an absolute minter...
lol I quite like the titaniums though! with the right wheels I think they look mint. Yeah it's quite scarce at the mo on pistonheads and the trader, but there's some dogs on the trader, you can just tell. I'll keep looking and getting my knowledge of them built up in the meantime! :o
lol ok mate, I knew the induction was good, but sacralidge to take it off!? I'll get an ITG panel filter and be done then mate. Sound advice. Prospeed that's the one! I've had a magnex on a ph2 1.2 and wasn't that impressed with the quality which is meant to be awesome for the price. I really...
Good link cheers Mark. Thank god for this forum and ppl like you, this is priceless advice. So we're the titaniums UK import too? Im not too worried about the wheels as Im most likely going to be changing them, maybe pro race 1's 15" gloss black or something lightweight for track. :) I'd love to...
Right I've decided to go for a ph-quick 172 when I've got the funds.
I've seen a few ph1's on here with the carbon splitter on the front, and it looks fecking mint. I want one... Where can I get hold of one and how much am I looking at?
Next up.. I want to get a non standard full exhaust put...
totally agree with that, I see a few Cups around my way and can't rememeber seeing a ph1 for months... My mind is made 100%. That is the thing Mark I've been looking recently on autotrader, pistonheads etc would rather not go through ebay, but you don't see many up for sale. What do you think of...
Cheers for that Ad, my mind is soo made up, just a case of getting the funds together. Everyone seems to mention getting used to the clutch but I doubt it's worse than a 1.6 Corsa lol. Im thinking of tracking it as it'll only be used at weekends so thinking coilovers. ABS and A/C def give it a...
This is true, only thing is the general view is that the Mk2 is electrically not as reliable as the Mk1. Starting problems, cutting out etc.. Puts me off paying more...
yeah thats what Ive heard it's easy to use around town just popping out for lunch or shopping with the bird. I wish I had put one on my xmas list now lol.

Cheers for the feedback guys. Middo - is the green shift light on the dash and pretty easy to spot? Just so I don't go in blind lol.

I'd like to get some feedback from the experienced owners/ know it all's ;) on here, for things like common problems, servicing costs, what to look out for, what to check has been done if viewing one etc.
