They're Halogen projectors anyway. They weren't really meant to have HIDs in them in the first place, it's just that they don't blind people when you fit HIDs in them. So Halogen will be fine.

I don't go much on the new china era Volvos, there's a lot of people having problems with the new XC90 that I've noticed. My experience of other volvos is mainly 740s, 850s and a 440. Which is a bit of an unkind comparison.

Dunno then. I can tell you that everything has been superbly put together on mine and the neighbour's S40. If anything it's a bit over engineered.

The C30 and S40 are both epic, the V50 I've no experience of but I can't imagine it being any different seeing as it's pretty much the same car.

The petrol volvos are rapid but drink fuel, diesels are nearly as rapid but with sensible fuel economy. If I was a rational person I'd have gone with a D5. But I'm not so I didn't.

Should plug into the back of the stereo. Could also be the CD Changer connector too at a guess. If you plug everything else in and turn the stereo on, does the information show up on the top dash screen?

Quite possibly the display/stalk control connector, it's yellow on my Ph.1 though.
