What is it that makes a phase 2 heaver than a phase 1? Thinking about this the other day........ Only real thing i can think of is the 16" Renault wheels on the phase 2, compared to the 15" F1's of the phase 1...... what else?
The standard stuff is good. I've sourced some H&R's but they are sat in the shed at the mo as i'm loving the cup/proline combo. Nice and supple for the B roads......... All i know is when i had Gaz they ruied my first cup.. Had them all hights/settings. I found them super unrifined and NOISY...
hmmmmm mine was really bad, sounded like that. Only did it once up to temp though........ Steve changed the pulley last weekend and cured it 100%. If yours does it from cold could be something else?
Not really worth it on a 182 though. Very efficient. Worth doing more on a 172. Re the light, it may come on it may not. I plugged the second hole with a blank and left the o2 sensor plugged into the loom, and taped it up under the car. It didnt bring my light on
There is. The bands are different colours on the springs. On my 172 cup they are Yellow and White, cant remember what colour the 182 cup ones were (did have one). Only real way to tell it has cupped suspension is to mesure the bolt spacing on hub/shock mounting points. Should be 60mm.
