If ya change the bearing and mount at the same time it will be sorted, I had 4 new tyres just put on last week and still does it. It's defo that l, believe me people!!!
Who said that it was faster? I've been side by side with said car and it struggles to hold onto my cup, which only has a cat back exhaust, his is running 183 bhp after a rolling road. Take that how ya like.
I'd try and get a drive of 1 that has been done cos I drove a cup with rs tuner and didn't like the smoothed out powerband, heard there is a map now where you can keep the 5 k kick so I would check to see which you prefer.
Ok my mate has found the problem, aparently there is a bearing underneath the top mount with wears causing play in the suspension, Renault sell a kit of top mounts plus bearings for 125 quid. I dare say euro parts will be cheaper. Hopefully every1s car gets sorted now.
Had same problem was the dampers mate. Easy to spot though cos mine were leaking but they started being funny well before they leaked. Very easy to fit so could do it yourself.
I don't doubt I would love driving a v6 I'm a real car enthusiast I just didn't get when ya said 172 are pish which is cup model included which I have owned for 2 years and there clearly not or I'd be the first to say and get rid of it, maybe if we ever meet you drive mine and I drive yours.;)...

Whatever mate with a couple of mods on a 3 grand 172 cup would show your prescious v6 for the heavy under powered lump it is, not bad for a car you badge as pisch. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.:rasp:
Loved my 205 gti but for me my 172 cup does everything that did but better faster and with more reliability. Old hatches have the pedigree though but still voted cup.
V6 spoiler if ya don't mind ya boot only opening half way, or cup 1 if ya do.

its strut top mounts mate, mine and my mates car are doing the same, they do exactly what yours does. his trophy is getting done monday so i will confirm it if it fixes the problem, 20 quid euro parts by the way for 2.
just thought id show ya the painted side strips as ive just done mine, makes a difference. i would take that splitter off aswell, unless you really like it then f**k what any1 else thinks.
