That's pretty much how they handle to be honest, hence why alot of them get crashed. Personally I like it but for less confident drivers they are twitchy.

I have a cat back exhaust on my cup which I find even if it doesn't give much power that it changes the experience with the sound so would def think about doing it to yours.

fitted a ktechracing fiter tonight to my 172 cup, already have a exhaust, to be honest i wasnt expecting much, well i was hoping for a little noise, but when fitted i got a whole load of nothing, lol well tell a lie, it has smoothed my idle, wonder if any of you guys have had a different...

My mate was actually looking at this car and he wasn't put off by the actual car it was the existance of the mk 2 v6 where prices are low and they got better reviews as new. Mental car though, just a brave choice.

Well for the record the exhaust was already on so I didn't choose it, it actually sounds really good but I will be replacing it, hope that cleared matters up. And I would love to know which pic ya can see my exhaust cos ya can barely even see it and in only 1 pic.

I have the same car and have been looking at coilovers, for price and the fact I don't go on track the gaz coilovers from k tech look good and have ajustable dampers aswell for £511 Inc vat had a passanger ride in a ph1 172 and they seem quite good, for kw with ajustable dampers your looking at...

I bought my cup after driving a mates 182, loved the noise, performance and handling. That was nearly 2 years ago and I have never looked back.

I would def go for a cup if I was you it's just got that extra edge everywhere and look a little more special. Just get bucket seats put in with leather on, ya won't notice the lack of abs much, got bigger discs to stop ya.

Na I went sensible for abit with a brand new corsa sxi, for the free insurance then got a seat Ibiza 2.0 litre 16v then got my cup, had it nearly 2 years now. Love it, clayed barred it today and fell in love allover again. What model you got?
