Just wondering as in 2 and a 1/2 years of owning Clio sports I've never had mats, is there original Renault sport ones or do ya have to get them specially made up. Any1 know any good companys if so.
Cheers kev.
The 182cup has more grip so I would say it is quicker round a b road and if ya did a top speed run but dunno if it was just my 172cup but it was rapid upto 110 mph.
Try driving 1 then and it will take all of 3 gear shifts to see with your own eyes. And I was meaning with the weight difference which didn't think needed to be mentioned.
For arguements sake 3rd 85 mph/ 172. 3rd 90mph/ 182 then 110 mph in 4th/ 172 and 120mph in 4th for 182. Just facts I'm...
I've had both cups now 172 more wind noise and they are twitchy but so is the 182 just the wider rubber hangs on better. Mpg was better in the 172 cup about 30 with all types of driving but didn't do much less with full on thrash, the 182 you can get down to the teens. Not even sure why cos they...
Yeah oil change is every 4k on diffs aswell. Not the end of the world if ya know a mechanic. I really fancy 1, will hang on to Xmas though and try grab a bargain evo 6. Seems like alot of other people on here are in the same mind.
Love the yellow, prefer the original wheels though. It would have to be White for me though for that truley original jap look. Been looking the good ones are around 6-7k yellow ones at the top end of the money.
Noticed you'd done a few mods the other day, go with what you like mate it's your car after all. Been getting it cleaned at the metro centre like? ; p.
You unreliable c**t hutchie. Why spend all night taking the t***s if ya not gonna post them. Your the same as the people who put there name down and didn't turn up.
Think ya can get some that go where ya fog lights are, really does help ya pads stay cool for longer. Maybe look into higher grade brake fluid aswell as it gets really hot there in April or rain 1 of the 2. Lol and if ya looking at 888s don't forget ya gotta drive there and back too, not really...
I just have a zymol detailing brush that gets right in the cracks. 7 quid so alot cheaper. I was shocked when I saw the price of the badge I saw 1 on a trophy on here and fancied doin the same but balls to that.
Noticed ya have the 182 wheels which arnt good for ventilation so I'd say either turinis or some kind of brake ducting. I noticed the difference coming from a 172 cup to 182 cup, they also feel quite heavy so lighter wheels sharper steering. I'm also planning a trip to the ring with some friends...
Just find a tight round about turn in a little later than ya normally would and it's up. Lol 182s seem to do it more than my 172 cup used to. I was showing my mate and I had my 182 on 3 wheels and sliding, on the road. Lol yeah i meant to do it ofcourse. Sniff.
Was good crack last night, there was a few trying to go for the cleanest car in the meet but there was only ever gonna be 1 winner there. Lol the trophy was close though. Didn't catch your name either mate even though I talked to ya for ages.
Na mate changed my mind gonna save for my next car instead cos think I'm bored of the Clio thing now, fancy a p1 so don't need much extra cash over mine.
