Centre section more than likely. Sounds like the early stages of the 4k rattle. The engine seems to have an in built resonance at 4k.
My centre section had split.
The plug on the end of the loom that attatched to my original brake light was round. The connector on the cup brake light is square. Had to dismantle the plug, solder the wires to the Cup brake light nad fill the whole thing with silicone.
There are pic here of a V6 spoiler on a non Vee.... Different colour, but should give you an idea.

Aaah I see.
I'd like to take the credit for the idea but I can't Cli0172 was the originator. And I blatantly copied him. lol.
The Bear had a twin 3" cut into his bumper on the same day I had mine done. Looked and sounded nice, but was a bit loud for him on the motorway!!
Mine sits...
That could be one of a thousand silver 172's on here with the Cup exterior bits, mine included. Still looks nice though fella.
I'm always unsure about different spoilers. I don't like the V6 spoiler on the 172/182's - doesn't look like it fit's right to me.
I have the Cup spoiler on mine...
Fins straight road. Put foot down in second and keep it planted. You'll soon see it.*
*lagerlout accepts no responsibiility if you end up in a ditch trying to see the gearchange light.
Ben does know his stuff, no doubt. But the guy asked a genuine question out of genuine interest. I don't think it was an attempt to belittle Ben in anyway. As good as he is, nobody is above question. And lucky for us Ben is always happy to give an answer. :approve:
I can't see how you will get any noise increase with a panel filter in the standard airbox - it's sealed and your not changing any of the feeds to the box.
It happens every year a round this time. It's renaults way of making your dash look more Christmassy by adding a few pretty lights. lol.
Seems like you got a bit of a friday afternoon car there mate. Unlucky.
