Got a bit dark on me but I had to take a few piccies as it's been a while since she's been properly clean.
Mods so far ; Prospeed Cat-Back with 3.5" tailpipe, ITG Maxogen Carbon Fibre induction kit, ET38 Speedline Turini 16" Alloys, Cup Splitter, Cup Spoiler, CTR aerial, SilverFusion lamps...
I'd thought my tyres felt very firm after having them fitted. Got round to testing the pressures today.
Passenger rear - 30 psi. No problem.
Drivers rear - 26 psi. Little low.
Drivers front - 33 psi. No problem.
Passenger front - 68 f**king psi!!
It's a wonder...
Loony speaketh sense as usual.
I would have spent money on the simple things first like colour coding, spoiler, double optic headlights etc before forking out for fancy (and frankly f**king horrible) rear lights and mahoosive wheels.
At the moment It looks like it's made up of spare...
The 2005 Clio's came with a painted spoiler as standard. At least the Dynamiques etc did anyway. The spoiler is identical to the 172/182 NON CUP spoiler.
As soon as I'd put it on I wanted to take it off. lol. I was worried incase it left a orrible mark on it.
It does look better all carbony. Some of the kits I've seen have the ITG logo embossed in the carbon, but mines just plain.
Strictly speaking it's not a 'sport'.
They're getting confused with the sport spec on your 1.2 and the Renaultsport Clios which are more often than not referred to as Clio Sports.
On a side note, I'd wait for the RS-3 if you intend to get a loan for one. A 182 is worth 2 mars bars second hand atm. When the new RS Clio comes out it'll be worth a penny chew.
I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a Cup on the road.
I see loads of 182's (more than 172's including the odd phase 1 172) and even a V6 every couple of weeks. But never a Cup. Guy I work with used to have one but, you guessed it, it went off to a better place. Via a ditch. :(
PS @...
Accoustic valve iirc. Restricts the airflow by means of a butterfly valve, actuated by crankcase vacuum or revs or something. lol. Supposed to reduce induction noise and increases torque lower in the rev range.
I don't know much more about it, but people tell you to just get rid. The...
Ummm it is an RenaultSport isn't it?
Looks loads better. Mk2's do tbh. Lines are much cleaner. Rear (and front imho) of Phase 1 172 look far too cutesy and bubbly.
Paint looks ace too. Very shiny. :)
My fuel computer is WAY more accurate than my gauge. My fuel guage is f**king anyhow. I can have a quarter of a tank in, turn my car off to go in a shop or whatever, come out and start her up again and I'm in the f**king red!! lol!!
I drive by computer and it's never let me down (yet). As...
Not good in terms of light/colour but my favourite composition. Still learning photography.lol.
This is my favourite non-car pic - My mates stag do part 1 at Snetterton.
Also like these because it's the first time I successfully 'panned' to capture something moving. lol...
