I read your post about yours earlier Richy, it does sound very similar.
I've never had it before on previous Renault Sport Clios, but it's getting noticable on mine as I can feel it through my trainers on smooth road surfaces.
I'll let you know how I get on this afternoon, although that's...
Looks like we'll be getting GTR on the 360 next year. I'd rather play it on the PC but at least it will give 360 owners a taste of what a pure sim is, unless they dumb it down a bit. GTR
I'm quite looking forward to Test Drive Unlimited too, it's getting some good press so far: TDU
Anyone got any ideas?
I've just called the garage and they've said the best they could do is a road test and wouldn't be able to look at it until at least next Wednesday.
As I'm driving along I can feel it knock through the pedals and floor beneath my feet. This can easily be replicated...
A couple of months back I had new engine mounts on the Trophy which fixed the usual gentle knock at low speeds, those have since failed again so new ones are going to be fitted at the 12k service.
The last few days I've had this feeling that something isn't quite right though and that somewhere...
That's spot on as far as I'm concerned. The Clio has to be kept on the boil all the time because as soon as you drop below 5k there's that pause while you wait for it to come back "on cam". The Pug doesn't have a noticable lull before the power kicks in, it pulls hard and strong from low revs...

MrBilly, you have just said what I've said all along, if they still made that car I would own one again today. It's only now with the Trophy I'm happy I've got something similar. In...
I'd go with that mate. If I got done by one I'd not be overly bothered. They handle better than pretty much all the Clios I've driven, and even though they have less power they don't weigh a massive amount, plus they are geared really nicely.
The Trophy was far easier to insure than my cup packed 182 was. The Cup packs are a factory fitted option and should be covered in the value of the car, though some companies will screw you for more, it often depends on the person on the other end of the phone.
The Trophy is a model in it's...
At the end of the day you don't have to have the mods, you just want them. Just don't bother until you can afford, or are prepared to pay for them. It's seriously not worth the risk.
What if you aren't capable of removing them because you were seriously hurt in the accident?
I can't understand people not asking for a quote before going ahead with mods, and even less so people who think it acceptable to not declare them.
