What about performance and gains to be seen from eacg engine. Would you say the F7R has more gains? I just find it hard why they would put the f4r in a clio not the F7R?

Basically my knowledge of engines isnt great, but which would you say is the better engine in terms of performance, reliability etc?

Sound deadening behind the dash along with air con. Go for the cup bracket.

Are these only avaliable for the phase 2 172s?

What sort of outcome would i get from that? A chrome or just a good shine? Inlet is out of the car atm so ideally id want to do it before i put it together

Basically i want to Chrome up the Inlet manifold, well atleast shine it up alot more than it is. Sorry if this is in the wrong section as its more car cleaning i guess... So anyways feel free to move but just wanted to know what you guys have used and what you would recomend? Id prefer to do...

Just bought mine yday this is what i got and the prices they cost and the price i got :P Cam Belt kit : £163.09 i got it for £81.04 Water pump : £40.66 i got it for £18.02 Then an aux belt is about a tenner!

Just one last quick question, the gasket on top of the head and under the inlet manifold, does it have a gasket or just liquid seal? As if its a gasket, going to replace it!!

Thanks for the help chaps. Changed the belt and tensioners and water pump. So much easier when the engine is out of the car.
