mine did it once
mate came round in his new bmw 325 and was showing me that.. then asked me to rev my 182. it was quite cold and did a couple of pops.. shocked us both. hasnt done it since.
tried a search but couldnt really find anything
anyone got one of these on a 182? are they worth the money?? any noticeable power gain? do they make the exhaust louder at alll?
im guessing the emmisions (for mot time) are exactly the same as with standard cat?
just did a search and that seems to be the preferred place, found a piccie in one thread too.
was planning on using a small block of wood between the jack and the car as the top of my trolly jack is like a crown type of shape so would definately mark it.
or does the cardboard work fine?
already got one of them ez bleed kits with the non return valve in. cant be arsed to bleed them yet though, i'll see how it goes with just the pads.
im off work all week anyway so will give me something to do. lol
where do you jack your car up? as them jacking points under the sill usually...
see that post on here.. some lad went over an unmarked ramp and it basically fucked his car.. and theres been loadsa crap going on with the insurance assesor - his mods are declared. dont think he'd have them asssesor problems on a standard car.
ive been there done it.. had bilstein sport...
no just the fronts. im hoping the back ones are fien as they dont really do much work anyway.
its just my brakes lately have been very scary.. foot planted to the floor and its hardly stopped, not even been able to get the ABS to kick in in the wet.
yet at other times the brakes are really...
and have a nice rough ride, been there done that.
then when it comes to hitting a pot hole like someone on here did and it knackers ya car up.. you cant claim cos the insurance blaim the aftermarket suspensiion..
great stuff cheers..
so its off the END off the backing plate and not the rear of the backing plate
did you fit the pads in the way the guide shows (the one thats a sticky on this forum?)
probably either a dodgy wire connection to the central locking actuator
a knackered central locking actuator
or a fault central locking control unit
theyre the 3 things i can think of
spoke to a lad called Guy at demon thieves
just cost me 91 quid summets all incl vat + delivery with the CS 10% discount :S
said the difference between the 565's and the 406's is that the 565's have wear indicators?
just incase anyone wanted to know.. got a reply back from wayne schofield aka chipwizards and he can do full remap on standard ECU..
hes a good mapper and has done quite a lot of cammed 16v saxo's giving out approx 155bhp
id expect costs will be around same price as the saxos were - 450ish...
when you put your battery connections on again.. copper GREASE them up to get a good contact and reduce any possible corrosion on the metal terminal/clamp
