is there anyway to release the bonnet from outside?? i reach up under the bumper and pull the release cable i used to be able to release my 106 bonnet from the outside. the release cable went through near the wheel arch then across the front of the slam panel. which was handy if the battery...

not sure, if the batterys in decent condition (despite the discharge) than you really need to find out how it discharged so quickly.. there must be a wiring fault somewhere shorting the battery.
