Welcome. 1.6 is a massivley under rated car in the category. Renault missed a trick with it tbh. If they'd have made a sportier model of the 1.6 a lot of people would have bought it tbh. I'd have had one of my fiesta any day of the week if it was a sportier car as standard.

Should be 4 torx bolts, that's all. Maybe the previous owner removed it, didn't have a gasket and instead used sealant. Maybe try sliding a Stanley blade between the 2?

For extra lows buy the Mk2 coilovers and topmounts. Mk2 coilovers are cheaper iirc and also go lower. It also means with the top mounts from the Mk2 the car is lower than with mk1 topmounts so you can run it just as low with more suspension travel left if you get me. Kind of like when people...
