There's one on 197.net in that spec. I think it's just under £2k for the Recaro pack and the i.d. leather pack. Black with red stitching would look good.

In all honesty, it depends how serious you want to go. List of the suspension I've owned -Prolines -Sportlines -Apex springs (on a car I purchased, I didn't buy them) -AST coilovers -H&R coilovers -KW V2 coilovers -Whiteline ARB Springs are not adequate for a track car, imo standard suspension...

But pe2's were specifically designed for the 182, right? ;).

All correct tbf. Need to budget £1500 if you want to get decent suspension/brakes etc. Personally, I'd just get a whiteline ARB (£150ish), pads/discs/lines (<£200), and 15's with standard road tyres. You'll be amazed by the ARB. Pound for pound, a bigger improvment than coilovers.

If it's going to be used regularly on track, it'll end up costing you when things go wrong. Which they will. So cheapest is best!

I'd drive a few and decide what you want. The ph1 feels different to the ph2, which you prefer is personal.

Was in a similar situation (having owned 2x ph2 172's, a 182cup and a Trophy). Ended up selling a ph2 172 and the Trophy to get a ph1 and do lots of work to it. Never, ever regretted it. The ph1 is lighter as standard, has much better throttle response (ignore the ph2 ladies that deny this...

Not at all, there are a few on here that have driven/fitted pretty much every setup going. Never heard a positive word said about them. End of the day, if they were decent they'd sell a lot more. They are the cheapest adjustable damping setup around I think? Beauty of these forums is the advice...

Have to agree, that's not funny imo. As said, I'd be looking at the companies liability etc, and go back and check if there are any signs up in the car park regarding liability. I'd do that asap, no doubt they'll be put up if the organisers get wind of legal action.
