It does look very sweet mate, i said that to Gray yesterday as you were driving off and most people that came in to the workshop last week commented on it.
I'm getting a bit old now and prefer to see them standard and if you think those arch gaps are comical you'll love my Laguna GT.
Nagh, there's something about a Renault wrapped in yellow:
... they just look amazing. Shame every one expects a fit woman to be driving it and not Paul.
Ross,
I've just had a 182 in this week with a similar MPG related issue (amoungst others) and it needed a new CTS as the temp was reporting an unstable 71 - 92 degrees when it was physically in the low 80's. New sensor and the owner is now reporting 35-36mpg with normal driving. If you bring it...
Normally, they will want to see it on the car mate and if the claim is denied you will have to pay for the inspection so be sure its not your fault before you do this. If it is honoured though they will supply and fit it for free.

The decent belts are made by either Gates or Dayco and really there is no difference between them. Gates produce there own kits and supply the belts for Renault where as Dayco make there own type approved belts but also rebrand for the Continental and INA kits. Again the belt itself doesn't...
I need to price the pump up as i've got a trophy in on Tuesday for one so will let you know. I always price for a stat change though when doing pump and coolant... just prefer to be thorough.

My workshop is directly opposite a well known dogging spot so do I win? (He's nowhere close to me but I just wanted to see you both and raise yer). I need to work out why a certain blonde lady keeps bobbing her head up and down when people get in her black Fiat Brava

I'm all for people having a go but really.... TipEx? LoLz
The problem with the "TipEx" method is that if the timing was wrong before (be it drastically or just slightly) it will still be wrong (If not worse) when it all goes back together and it really does only take the smallest inaccuracy to...
Current ClioSport.net member price is £580 for the full timing belt change (including aux kit) with a new dephaser pulley (including oil and filter change). We also change the camshaft oil seals and all fixings when doing this job at no extra cost.
Gimme a call sometime and we'll get it booked...
Yeah, if you're going for that DTM shifter style it may be harder to achieve than you think as the rod type selectors are a long throw setup. The standard Scenic I unit is a few inches taller than the standard Megane I due to the driving position and will deffo fit in the Clio II floor box...
I'm wanting to get the place decorated first but March/April time would be good as its busy and freezing at the minute... That's for Daveski and Gray to arrange though.
Just to be clear... i NEED bits that I can use again Kieran lolz
I went in to my local dealer this morning to "enquire" myself and they didn't even know anything about it... the service manager was honestly shocked when I showed him the webpage and then went in to expletives mode so its obviously been poorly communicated to the franchises. I'm really not sure...
Take the car somewhere to be properly diagnosed rather than code read... the difference is huge.
If you're anywhere near Nottingham i'll volunteer my services.

it means there is a fault on either the ABS, ESP or TC on the vehicle. It could be something really simple or it could also be something a little more sinister but until you've had it plugged in you will never know.
If you were a bit closer i'd tell you to pop in but Wolves is a bit of a trek...
That is indeed £380 for the timing belt kit, aux drive belt kit, fixings, seals and the knowledge that your car has been treated with the same care, courtesy and respect that i treat my own with.
For additional piece of mind all our work has 12months parts/labour warranty and is covered by our...
Most of "us" already charge around £50 for a set of NGK PFR6E10's fitted mate and Renault are £399 for a timing belt change now. I've always been £380 (£280 for a Cup) so I'm not worried as most enthusiasts wouldn't trust the main dealer anyway.
Its too little too late from them if you ask me...
If there is oil in the header tank, if you didn't put it in, there is only one way it gets there... HGF
It doesn't always result in poor engine running and over heating
Oil level will be a faulty oil level sender or its associated wiring... will also be the cause of the oil light and SERV light. It shouldn't be the cause of the poor start though so would recommend you get it plugged in.
Mick
If you can get them to me Tony I'll put them thru his shop for you at cost. As long as the rim isn't split/cracked/fucked he can get it about bang on.
He's done a few repairs for me now and they're very good especially for the cash.
