TDC sensor! common as s**t! just doesnt pick the timing signal off the flywheel very well! new sensor and small section of loom! about £20 from renault! needs soldering in.
there is no way by looking at it you can really tell! if there is no hard evidence, ie a receipt, assume its not been done! you DO NOT want it breaking!
It could be anything! the problem you have is what clip tells you it is often is not the case! if youre not careful you end up on a wild goose chase! to be honest, i wouldnt have been looking down the plug route! although they do need changing before 72k! it is very rare for them to cause...
But if you were having your car serviced at a decent garage you shouldnt need to anyway, as it should be lubed at each service! at the minute we are checking every single clio that comes into the workshop! even if the customer doesnt request it, quick look and lube up, tbh you would be suprised...
yes you can get a duplicate book! as said if you know where its been serviced they will stamp it up for you, if you dont your up the creek without a paddle so to speak!
Edde behave yourself man!!! the lack of traction control / abs doesnt matter imo, if youre going to crash, your going to crash! it has no airbag either, safety feature = in the bin!, and its 2 less things to go wrong! and the sunroof doesnt rattle!
Buy a cup.... then drive it like you stole it, on private roads of course!;)
