I think you have to alter the exhaust after the manifold also - different cat lengths?
I though about it, but its a helluva lot of work. Money better spent on AWT inlet and SMT6 imho.
Having inspected my mid section since getting the 4k rattle, it appears to be made of the tin foil from a kit kat wrapper. And I think they made the engine mounts with the kit kat. lol.
I would be very interested in some kind of inlet manifold group buy. I can get it done more local to me, but if a good discount is available I dont mind travelling....
No. Its horses for courses. For some people, being able to open your boot fully is more important than having a bigger spoiler. lol. You cant get narked because people have given THEIR reasons for not getting one,
You may have bought it because of the stiff suspension and the colour. Those are...
Oh and I told the Lady @ Renault that my I was getting resonance at 4k and she looked at me as if I was speaking in a foreign language. lol.

Welcome to my world. Had it two weeks now and its gradually got worse and worse. Currently waiting to find out if its a warranty job or not (car is booked in for a week friday!! Efffing typical renault!! Another 10 days of driving around below 4k revs. lol.)
lol. Im not sure what kind of increase you get, but £500 sounds cheap to me. lol. You should try owning a 2.0 NA if you think diesel tuning is expensive. lol!!

I reckon that even if they fit me new one, itll only f**k up again. Plus I wouldnt trust renault to do the work.
Could do with finding somewhere closer to me than prospeed though. Cardiffs a bit of a treck.

Really?? I can see there is a split in the centre section. I might just get Renault to check it out. No way am I paying them a penny for a new exhaust though.
Its only done 17,000 miles. My Old astra was still on its original at 50,000!!!
What started as a little bit of a buzz from the heatshield at 4k, has turned into a full blown metallic rattle through most of the rev range. And its driving me nuts.
My question is do you think its even worth bothering trying to get Renault to fix it, or shall I just f**k it off completely...
