Got my torque back!

Stupid induction kit was raping me of power, especially in the hot weather. Even a direct cold air feed didnt help. But thanks to Clart with the group filter buy, Im smiling again.

Maybe Johnny..... well see at the scottish road trip. Youll probably have the new suspension by then and wont be using the middle pedal much.

coolio, I changed my paper filter for an itg replacement 2 weeks after having the car. Due to the running in period I never had a chance to properly notice a before and after.

Went for a wee run and noticed quite a difference compared with the IK. Probably due to the temperature this afternoon.

It was a universal real carbon enclosed airbox with a K+N cone inside. Looked and sounded excellent. Would prob suit a 1.2/1.4 better. Yours for a tenner if you want it.

ehhh...surely a beta feed to that would work beta than a pannel filter...The Ik is enclosed, therefore void of hot air, a viper feed to the front bumper would hav srted that surely??! The renault feed is gash it goes NOwhere!

That setup didnt look bad, I just think that open IK on Clios are a waste of time unless they are mapped accordingly with an ECU/Chip, no IK will help with the low down torque that the OE airbox & butterfly solenoid has.
