I think its a 5-cylinder 20v. Fiat are having real trouble shifting units at the moment, which is a shame as the Stylo is a fair car. My mates boss has an Abarth Stylo with all the toys youre on about. Its no hot hatch in the 172/Willy/16v/Cup sense, but itll do for mega miles.

My leathers in my 16v are the same front ones as a 19 16v - standard by Renault. But the back leathers are specific to the Clio 16v. The rears from a 19 will not fit into a Clio.

Mind you, the early/mid 1990s Rovers had the best engines of the day. Mostly twin cam 16v K-series engines (NOT designed/made by Honda contrary to populat belief) - even the 1.4 16v made 103bhp. Hence when Lotus and others need a belting engine, they pay Rover a visit. None ever handled...

To be fair, the Police are fairly good in South Wales. I saw their last speed trap yesterday afternoon in Cardiff. As you approached in either direction, there were about three marked Police cars and bikes clearly visible at two ends of the road. So to speed past these youd have been nuts...
