IIRC, BB Tuning had the turbo conversion up and running before K-Tec had and there demo car was certainly impressive. The kit they used were not cheap parts, and Andy certainly new the inside of any Renault engine. I'm not saying he's the best and only, but until someone has had the conversion...

If I'm thinking correctly, your vacumm gauge will work like a boost gauge on a turbo'd car. Apart from under any throttle pressure it will show 0, and off throttle it'll probably show a small amount of negative pressure. It will move directly from one to the other so you won't see much movement...

Another problem being that the majority of RS owners use independent specialists for services and parts. Would they start using Renault if they provided RS specialist mechanics/ parts etc? Probably not at dealer prices so they wouldn't really gain much.

Owning a car in LY can be a real nightmare some days. But as long as you look after it well and reguarly clean it, you'll do anything to keep it. After owning one, I still would pay the premium over a standard coloured 182.

Out of curiousity, what would the vacumme guage tell you that you need to know?

IIRC the cup pack options on the 182 included PE2's with stiffened side walls over the standard PE2's fitted to non cup packed 182's. But then heard that they stopped producing 2 different types?

RS only dealsers will never happen, too much cost and the market simply isn't big enough to warrant an independent dealership IMO. RS specialists within a dealership is more than likely the best bet. A dealer I've used had a salesman trained in the full RS range but he still dealt with normal...

Is there any problems with layering up different makes of wax's? I've recently applied 2 layers of AG high def wax and really pleased with the results, but thinking of layering some 476's over the top for the winter months

Position the top mount with the rubber o-ring around the threads and as you place it in the strut top make sure it sits centrally to take up any gap there is between the strut and top mount. Mine only moved in the 1st month of them being fitted, checked the lock ring was tight every weekend...

About half12 today a blue 197 with silver wheels, can't remember if it was 2006 or 2007 reg, pulled out in front of me at the traffic lights along Mersea road heading towards town.
