Michelin Pilot Exalto 2!!!
nothing else is good enough, I've recently changed to a set of Yoko's and the grip in the wet is poor and there's not much feel for when they let go
I was told yes by the guys at compbrake when I asked if I really needed them. I guess it'll help the mount grip the strut turret better and stop metal on metal contact and wear
All sorted now.
Just spoke with Brent at Compbrake, top bloke. has sorted me out a full set of washers and o-rings for £10 and hopefully will post them out in the next couple of days.
What a difference it makes talking to the right guy. Cheers for all your help

Saw this last night coming out of the W&G carpark and out of town towards the A12.
Was a Mk2 Ph2 1.2 in a translusant green, lexus lights, aftermarket alloys, big exhaust tail pipe and the tinyest 'Cliosport' sticker in the rear window I have ever seen, and a pirvate plate reading L77 APR
if I'm going to be giving it stick in the bends, I always switch it of f 1st.
My girlfriend doesn't know what the button does yet, but when she sees me press it coming up towards a nice set of bends or stretch of road she knows to push herself back into the seat and hold on
When I had to change the tyres on my standard 16's I fitted these for a week and it did feel quite good on turn in and grip, but it felt too soft on the standard 185/55/15 tyres
