Was at a CS meet a month or two ago - he gave it a bootful as he drove off and we got blamed for it!
Then there's this. Don't know what's going on with the exhaust system but I like it.
Get a fair few supercars round our way but I go more squiffy for the Escort Mexico in work.
I need to do HOU's, but the polisher s**t the bed a few weeks ago. They're not particularly cloudy but they're yellow.
What d'you recommend to seal them by the way?
A few minor points, nothing major. I know it's not scripted so I won't go on about things like knowing what the flaws are before you start the video as it's the sort of stuff you have the script for in the first place.
1. You can tell that you've got a music clip looped over and over, as it...
I don't see why not, there's nothing special at the light end AFAIK.
The level sensor tells the UCH to move the headlight servos to 25%, 50%, 75% etc, just the same as the wheel does.
EDIT: Just done some reading, swap the servos from the old lights to the new ones, and retain the manual...
It's a servo. Whether it's controlled by a dial, a self leveller, or a small gnome hiding in the glovebox, it's still a servo. A positive, a ground and a pulse wire, in a connector.
See my last post r.e. legality. As long as they're not blinding and fitted in projectors, and looks OEM, no...
They will pass an MOT. However as they don't meet the type approval of the car they could possibly be deemed illegal by an unusually clued-up copper. But yes, projectors or nothing.
I'd recommend the 1*2 units, but be very careful as they are fragile as fcuk and almost guaranteed to break in...
Loving my Anker so far, in the last 15 mins it's charged my phone 18% and it's still above 75% after charging a few other bits and bobs off it too. I didn't realise it has a torch in it too.
Light weight, short wheelbase, sticky tyres + coming on boost mid corner = backwards, unless you're wide awake.
So you could do what chip did and limit boost according to throttle position (so you're only getting what you ask for) or supercharge.
Congratulations on buying pretty much the tidiest 182 money can buy :)
LOL at the 10 hour drive to collect the new motor. Searching high and low for an absolute minter as per usual :rasp:
Nice piece of kit, bright green FTW ;)
Have to say though, that c**kpit makes the one in the westie look massive! Even though in reality they're probably a similar size.
And yes, it does look like a fisher. They're actually pretty good from what I've seen, post good times.
Different company.
It's just an interface between your car and the computer so it can copy the map over, the box doesn't stay in the car when you've finished mapping.
Yes, but he stayed at 70 in that lap whereas the S4 kept going. The rest of the video was shot at '70'.
OP, What was your best laptime by the way? I think we should see that strip of DC on the F1 calendar next year.
I don't think there's anything for sale locally at that sort of price, but I'll keep an ear down in case.
The front bumper's seen paint too. It could be a very minor knock which cracked the bumper and headlights. I'd go and look at it and see if it's worth it.
Snigger. Liked the Father Ted reference too.
Very fair writeup really, I was half expecting a plug for the free camera (and so were they probably), but it's harsh where it needs to be and gives praise where it's due. Nice job.
I've cheated in single player games. I've had the 20,000mph skylines, the invisible Sam Fisher, pistols with the fire rate of a minigun, stopping power of a Challenger Mk2 and clip size of a GPMG, and fiddled with textures etc. but I've never done it in multiplayer and wouldn't recommend it...
