Don't think you need the premium model no. If you look at the comparison table on the website all models have the performance analyser with them. Anyone feel free to correct me on this :) Not sure on the custom costing. He didn't mention it last time I asked about it. I can't see it being that...
Personally i'm going to go with the RS tuner with or without a group buy going ahead. Obviously I'd wait if one started and i'm happy to start it. See what Henk says. I don't want to increase the limit at all really, as it will put extra strain on the internals. Plus you can use the diagnosics...
RS tuner mate. I asked Henk today if we could do one. Bargain and sorts the idle out. You might have to become a full member though to join in the GB on it.
Yeah it's a b**ch to remove imo. I used one of those chain grippy things and it was hard work. I'm hoping that when I put my oil cooler sandwich plate on it might make it a bit easier to get to.
The alen key is the top of the stut thread and needs to be held while you turn the nut. FYI WD40 it a day before as they are tight as hell. do the same on the strut nuts.

Yeah that's what sort of puts me off racing there really. Went round for a few laps at WSR a few years back, but didn't think much of it. Prefer donny really.
I've driven all of them from ph1, 172 cup to my FF182 now and even the 197, and there was a definate improvement to the standard handling characteristics imo throughout the years. Cue the mk1 lovers ;) Evolution is the name of the game.
Nice bit of kit. Would be a shame to sell those. Does similar mean they will work or not though? Best to give Fred a ring at BTM as he knows a things or two about that setup.
