To be fair the fact you are on here means you are legitimate or at least have seem to have the best intentions when selling what youve got-
I think from the neutral corner is though with so much choice you dont have to compromise to a car that when you come to resell will present similar...
LOL @ the response from the owner-
Auction car - no history, 95k - not 'quite sure' on the cambelt side- If I asked myself the question of would I buy it 50 times I would come back with the same answer 50 times- NO
As revels has said its not rare - there plenty around- & some especially...
Not being negative or disrespectful- 1.8k 'tops' means you are stretching the budget to buy a car- We have all been there- so im not getting on any high horse-
within the budget you need to provision for repairs & running costs-
I think you should save a bit more until you have around 2.5k...
Tax is £120 odd for 6 months-
*) engine mounts / dog bone mount shouldnt need to replaced that often- especially if done correctly- Exhausts rattling are common- could be the exhaust or heat shield-- budget around £150 for a second hand one WCS-
*) Cambelt wise you are risking the whole...
Hum
3.4k + new steering Wheel 3.55k- new exhaust mounts 3.6k " IT HAD A CAMBELT CHANGE " -- no mention of aux belt kit or anything- so belts will need doing properly-
So 4.2k for an 04 plate 182 on 63k-- That sounds about right- not really a bargain- then you have got to factor in other...
Ive had 7 Clio V6 drove them everyday- if you can afford to run it every day then its fine as long as you dont have much luggage etc-
A bit of advice--- if you have the windows open make sure they are the same level each side as an imbalance in the wind flow in the cabin usually blows the heat...
I would suggest paying the £10 membership for here to get access to the classifieds---
Theres a black R27 for sale thats priced low -- needs a bit of work, but at the end of it you will have a very good car on the 'cheaper' end of the scale-
You also have access to all the traders who...
well-
If we are referring to the 20k one thats been discussed there isnt any mot's--
If its another car then I would say check that page because it will list all the failures --- often you only get the green front sheet on historic MOT's-

PLLEAASEEEEEEEEEE Check the VOSA mileage checker from the V5 log book serial number & the reg before you buy it!!!!!!!!!

Its not the one in the thread-
All I would say is check that the Cambelt & Aux belt kits have been changed & review the old MOT's to warranty the mileage-
Use the VOSA MOT checker

There was a thread about that build on here ages ago--- wasnt it an american pontiac or something- didnt it blow up on the first journey out....
It was an epic cowboy build- perhaps this firm did that sump baffle that freds got

I read into that that they have not kept the current one & will supply you with one when you buy it so you have no chance of checking on the day
IMHO the tax disks proves this is a clocker- why would someone keep all the tax disks & not keep anything else- its all BS
Steve
With respect and as has been said I was speaking as a prospective private sale-- I know what you paid & yes you got a good price, however all it does is highlight my point that you need the right car to come up at the right time, as opposed to getting one because you want one- obviously that one...
Ive found the cups have been very hard to sell on. Lots more on the market- after all you have inferno & RB- I havent looked, however maybe the sales of cups outweighed the FF ones on RB-
I havent got anything against them per say, just less desirable than the FF ones-
Mike-
As for selling- I...
