I have a Ktec exhaust + all parts with it now and eibach sportlines springs.
How much to fit? I am in wolverhampton, I usually go to my mate at kwik fit to use his ramp, but he's busy and I'm impatient.:D
The centre plastic piece needed is basically plastic riveted and clipped in, so I am drilling those out and bonding the piece into my dash, only if I get a decent finish on the plastic.
The price was low..... well put it this way, I dont care if I screw the job up too much.:clown:
Got the...
would it not look odd? I am not sure about getting a good colour match. I have been using a metal polish and its seems to be smoothing it all out.
A bit of the back to black stuff and I think it might be ok now.
I just tried the vinegar on my dash centre plastic bit for the sat nav screen.
Washed it off in the sink afterwards with soap and water and it seems to be working quite well.
:D good info.
Excellent people, Andy and Bex! Errr....dont know the other guys names.:o
I went for my 24k service and ended up getting chipped and having a new viper and feed fitted as well. Only took them a few hours too.
I got dropped into the town, and I took the girlfriend to a lovely italian restaurant...
I'll be getting the eibach sportlines on my car in the next week or so, fingers crossed, will let you know how i get on.
Where are you based, you could come for a drive.
dont listen to all these muppets on here,I have been tuning engines for the past 30 years, and I know a thing or two about chips. Its a load of rubbish, get the resistors instead.
:sleepy:
Hang on, who wrote that shite up there? lol
:D
Well I got the stub and flange part for my ktec exhaust and was only charged £15+vat!!!!
BARGAIN. Quick delivery too!
I thought it was gonna cost me loads.
70 miles seems about right. you may as well nail it every where as the only time I see a big difference in consumption is when doing motorway journeys.
Mike, sorry to spam, but I have been offered the centre section of the top dash needed for this setup. Is it possible to just fit the centre bit, glue it into the original dash?
